Shark APEX UpLight Review: Is This New Stick Vacuum Any Good?

You won't be disappointed by a Shark vacuum cleaner if you are searching for a reliable, affordable vacuum cleaner. Despite their low prices, Shark's products are known for all of the benefits they provide.

In our testing facility a while back, we got the chance to test one of the world’s leading manufacturer’s stick vacuums, the Shark apex uplight.

If you're curious to learn more about this vacuum, our in-depth review covers all you need to know.

Performance

Bare Floors

The Shark APEX UpLight functioned admirably on bare floors such as hardwood.

Dirt and tiny particles were picked up approximately 100% of the time by in-house tests. The vacuum left behind a few shards of big debris but nothing major.

There are 2 reasons for its outstanding results on bare flooring. For starters, the vacuum has a 700-watt motor that can provide plenty of suction. Secondly, within the cleaning head is a gentle motorized brush roll. Its purpose is to smash tiny, fragile material, making it more straightforward for the suction to pick it up. The brush's soft bristles ensure that the wooden floor is not damaged.

Carpeting

The Shark UpLight vacuum performed admirably when it came to carpet cleaning. In fact, it cleaned area rugs better than several far more expensive professional vacuum cleaners.

Professional carpet productivity comes from low-pile carpets. Particles and pet hair were picked up approximately 100% of the time. The Shark APEX UpLight DuoClean also performed admirably versus big debris, collecting roughly one-third of all the test items thrown across our low-pile carpets.

The Shark APEX UpLight left a lot of tiny detritus behind, such as baking soda. However, a significant public believes it will not be a serious concern.

On high-pile carpets, performance suffers noticeably. The vacuum did not take up all of the pet hair and debris, leaving some stray particles behind. Cleaning debris on a high-pile is a little more complicated. Approximately 3/4 of all ample material was collected by the machine. It barely managed to collect roughly half of the entire quantity of tiny trash.

Design & Weight

With Shark Apex uplight corded lift away review from customers, it was well-designed by Shark. It is designed in a contemporary, visually attractive manner. The stick vacuum's overall design is streamlined, making cleaning confined nooks and tiny places more straightforward.

Sadly, despite its sleek appearance, the vacuum is rather hefty. Entirely constructed, the vacuum weighs about 11.2 lbs. You may detach the suction wand if the whole weight of the vac is too much for you.

Power Cord & Hose

The power cord for the Shark APEX UpLight corded Lift Away is 30 feet long. You'll be capable of cleaning moderate to extensive areas using it. The 4-foot hose, on the other hand, is extremely short. Furthermore, you may only utilize the suction hose when the vac is in handheld mode.

Dust Cup

The dust cup on the Shark apex uplight duoclean is rather nice. It can hold around 0.6 dry quarts of liquid. Even though it appears to be little, it is plenty for a stick vacuum.

The Shark APEX UpLight Lift-Away DuoClean is a fantastic vacuum for the money. If you attempt, we are confident that it will meet your demands and standards.
