Furuno Marine 1623 Radar NMEA Connection

I just completed installing a new Furuno Marine 1623 Radar on my brothers boat, I cant seem to get the GPS interface to function. The GPS source is a Standard Horizon CP390I chart plotter NEMA output connected to the radar. Any Ideas?

Sorry for the late reply. I seen your other post and I think you know the answer. If the simrad is RS232 then you have a NMEA level mis-match. You need a proper level converter between the devices. (RS232/RS422)
