Use of SDK and subsequent licencing

I have purchased the SDK for interfacing DRS4NXT radar in an USV application. Once the interface has been developed using the SDK, do have to continuously pay for the SDK licensing, or can my interface run on own compiled code without SDK thereafter?

My client is worried about on-going SDK fees and/or withdrawal of SDK license and then interface won't work?

Any advise or insight please?
